The destructive COVID-19 has emerged as the most lethal disease and dented the global economies in every aspect. Consequently, a large amount of research emerged to understand the dynamics of COVID-19. Using meta-literature approach with combination of both bibliometric (quantitative) and content analysis (qualitative) approach, this study aims to present a comprehensive review of COVID-19 business-related research of 477 articles. The results reveal the most the most relevant and influential scientific aspects of the literature such as authors, articles, institutions, journals, and countries. We also identify intellectual structure within six streams: 1) COVID-19 and global economy, 2) Dynamics of COVID-19 in business and management research, 3) COVID-19 and financial markets, 4) COVID-19 and its implication for tourism & hospitality industry, 5) Dynamic of supply chain and COVID-19 and 6) COVID-19 and functionality of government. Lastly, the review of the literature helps us to identify the research gaps and present 62 future research directions.

This study presents a retrospective of the Journal of Consumer Affairs (JCA) using bibliographic analysis between 1967 and 2019. The results indicate that both the number of JCA's publications and citations grew markedly over time. The dominant contributors to the journal are authors affiliated with U.S. institutions. Trends show increasing organizational diversity and collaboration among authors. The journal's central themes are consumer perception, consumer behavior, financial behavior, consumer spending patterns, financial literacy, consumer decision‐making processes, and marketing practices. Statistically significant relationships exist between the following article attributes and citations based on our negative binomial regression analysis. Age has a negative association with citations, but the direction of association turns positive when considering non‐linearity. A positive association exists between the number of authors, references, and U.S. affiliation. A negative relationship exists with article order, non‐academic author, top institution affiliation (FT100), funding, lead article, title length, and conceptual article.

The metrology area is responsible for measurement properties and is present in the market through services related to calibration, standardization, maintenance, measurement traceability, and certification. While there is a demand from metrology companies for efficient methods of managing the quality of their services and operations, lean culture encompasses the most important management techniques with applications in various segments. Considering the aspects that permeate these two areas, the question arises about a possible intersection between the demands of companies and metrology laboratories to remain competitive and certified in the market and benefits provided by lean culture. Thus, this paper performs a systematic review, according to the PRISMA protocol, in order to verify if there is an intersection between lean and metrology in the scientific literature. Through bibliometric and qualitative analyses, the research shows a gap of application with a lack of articles in this area, as well as a great potential of places and tools to be implemented.
