Bianchi type-III universe with perfect fluid

Abstract: We study Bianchi type-III cosmological model filled with perfect fluid in the presence of cosmological constant (t). The Hubble law utilised yields a constant value of deceleration parameter. Physical and Kinematical properties of the model have also studied.

“…This study based on the above idea is carried out in the framework of Bianchi type VI spacetime, which can be reduced to the Bianchi types VI 0 , III with anisotropic spatial curvature and types V, I with isotropic spatial curvature. Compared the Bianchi types I [23,27] and V [28], Bianchi types III [25,29,30,31] and VI 0 [24,32,33,34,35,36] spacetimes have been studied rarely in literature of general relativistic cosmology. The basic reason being that these spacetimes do not cover RW spacetimes.…”

“…Singh et al [54] have investigated a model with variable G and Λ in the presence of perfect fluid by assuming a conservation law for the energy-momentum tensor. Recently, Tiwari [55] has studied a model in the presence of perfect fluid and a time dependent Λ with constant deceleration parameter. Bali & Tinker [56] have investigated a model in the presence of bulk viscous barotropic fluid with variable G and Λ.…”
