Abstract: Ultrawideband emitting phosphors have shown remarkable application value in the photoelectric field. However, achieving ultrawideband emission covering the visible spectrum with the single activator is rare for metal oxide perovskites. Herein, we report a series of Bi 3+ -activated Sr 3−x Ba x BiY 3 B 4 O 15 (x = 0.0, 1.0, and 2.0) phosphors with ultrabroadband emission covering the visible spectrum.
