“…The BEs of La3d 5/2 for pure La 2 O 3 are 837.5 and 834.3 eV, while the BEs of La3d 5/2 for LaCo 0.7 Cu 0.3 O 3 /SiO 2 shifted to higher values of 838.1 and 834.7 eV, suggesting that lanthanum would denote electrons to the support of SiO 2 , in other words, La 2 O 3 and SiO 2 are in interaction.…”

“…For Cu−Co based catalysts, the influence of Cu/Co molar ratio was reported extensively, in most cases, the preferred Cu/Co ratio is around 1/2, which is close to our result. The influence of Cu/Co ratio on the catalytic performance for ES was investigated, and y=0.3 is the optimized result ,. As for La/Y ratio, only small amount of yttrium can be added, for that as the x exceeds 0.3, the exceeded Y could not incorporate into the lattice of the PTO.…”

“…Liu et al synthesized perovskite‐type LaCo 1‐x Cu x O 3 supported on mesoporous SiO 2 and ZrO 2 . In the first case, the authors observed the formation of bimetallic CuCo nanoparticles on a La 2 O 3 /SiO 2 support after reduction.…”

“…This agrees with the fact that metallic Co 0 is the active component for F-T reaction, and is responsible for the dissociative CO adsorption, C-C chain growth and hydrogenation. The selectivity of hydrocarbons increasing with reaction temperature is ascribed to the high activation energy for the dissociative adsorption of CO, which is favorable for hydrocarbon generation at higher temperatures3,15 .…”
