Bhargavaea ullalensis sp. nov., isolated from coastal sand

Abstract: A Gram-positive-staining, aerobic, non-endospore-forming bacterium, isolated from Ullal coastal sand, Mangalore, Karnataka, India, on marine agar 2216, was studied in detail for its taxonomic position.
