“…To the best of our knowledge, our study is the first to test the results of a prenatal individualized mixed management intervention on breastfeeding and maternal mental health using a randomized controlled trial design through 6 months postpartum. Our results indicate that the prenatal individualized mixed management intervention made it possible to reduce perinatal depression and support breastfeeding in the complex circumstances of these women's postnatal lives, in agreement with the findings Robinson and Hartrick Doane (2017) and Ngo et al (2019). We suggest that the prenatal individualized mixed management intervention model holds promise as a preventive and health promotion program addressing breastfeeding outcomes and maternal mental health.…”
