Beyond Snap-In: A Hybrid Nonlinear Control Approach for Actuators Possessing a Square-Law Characteristic

Abstract: The undesired square-law characteristics in micro-electrostatic actuators and magnetic solenoids results in a limited stable range, which reduces their application fields and performance.
