Beyond MADIT

Abstract: Sudden cardiac death remains the global burden. The most common associated arrhythmia is ventricular fibrillation. From current guidelines, defibrillation is the most critical step to rescue the cardiac arrest victims. Internal defibrillators were invented for prompt treating the ventricular arrhythmia.
