Beyond Both Traditional Scientist/Humanists and Humanist/Scientists

Abstract: This article compares traditional science and the "new science of possibilities" for counseling based on humanistic principles. The information age impels counselors to shi? to the new paradigm because the exponential increase of cultural change is generating a climate in which control-oriented procedures are inconsistent with events and debilitating to clients.
