The objective of this paper is to analyse the role of halal awareness, employing variables that can be both influential (determinant) and influenced (output). The study examines two perspectives, namely those from consumers and business actors. From a consumer perspective, this relates to the influence of halal awareness on the intention to purchase a halal product. Meanwhile, from the perspective of business actors, it considers how halal awareness affects the halal traceability of products. Halal traceability is also analysed from the consumers’ perspective as a moderating variable in the relationship between halal awareness and consumer purchase intentions. Questionnaires were distributed online and data were collected from 176 consumers and 95 entrepreneurs. SEM-PLS was then applied to analyse the data. The results show that halal awareness influences the consumers’ purchase intention and the halal traceability of the business actors. While the consumers’ halal awareness was determined by knowledge and halal certification. In contrast, religiosity has an insignificant influence on the consumers’ halal awareness. Meanwhile, the halal awareness of the business actors was influenced by knowledge, halal certification and religiosity. Halal traceability failed to moderate the relationship between halal awareness and consumer purchase intentions.

This study tests a holistic model covering the antecedents and consequences of service improvement within the context of the hospitality industry. Market orientation and brand orientation are considered among the antecedents of service improvement. Consequences of service improvement, on the other hand, are the sub-dimensions of hotel performance. Data were collected from 121 hotel managers via online questionnaire technique. The research model was tested with PLS-SEM method. Findings related to the direct effect hypotheses show that customer orientation has positive effects on brand orientation and service improvement. While competitor orientation affects brand orientation positively, it does not have a direct effect on service improvement. There is a positive relationship between brand orientation and service improvement. Service improvement enhances the customer performance of a hospitality enterprise while not having a direct effect on the economic performance of the enterprise. On the other hand, customer performance of a hotel increases the economic performance and economic performance enhances its financial performance. Hypotheses concerning the indirect effect indicate that competitor orientation affects service improvement behavior through brand orientation. Similarly, service improvement and economic performance relationship is mediated by customer performance, and customer orientation and economic performance relationship by brand orientation.

Therefore, since the p-value was less than 0.05 and lower control limit (LCL) and upper control limit (UCL) are out of '0' (zero) value (Sarstedt et al, 2020;Iqbal et al, 2020), the indirect effect of innovation competitive advantage was significant. The purpose of this study is to investigates the effect of organisational culture on the sustainable growth of SMEs; mediating role of innovation competitive advantage. The electrical products small and medium enterprises was the realm of this study. The partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS was employed to test the hypotheses. Finding of this study revealed that organisational culture has a direct positive significant effect on sustainable growth of SMEs and innovation competitive advantage. Moreover, the study confirmed that innovation competitive advantage has a direct positive significant relationship with sustainable growth of SMEs. Furthermore, the findings established that innovation competitive advantage has fully mediates the relationship between organisational culture and sustainable growth of electrical manufacturing SMEs in Nigeria. This study sets out purposeful measures to encourage owner-mangers of the electrical manufacturing SMEs to maintain as well as installing innovative organisational culture that enhance efficient sustainable growth of SMEs and embedding innovation competitive advantage as a viable strategic mechanism in the enterprise. This study is distinctive because it tries to fill the small and medium enterprises gaps through encouraging managers of the electrical manufacturing SMEs to always strategize for better sustainable growth in the rapidly changing business environment.
