Abstract:The relationship between science and technology studies (STS) and sociology has a long tradition of interconnection, yet one key influencer of STS, Michel Serres, has been underutilized. The interdisciplinarity of sociology makes it ideal for exploring Serres’ unique and elegant approach. This article will outline the blind spots in sociology caused by Eurocentric assumptions.
