Одни исследо-ватели отметили более высокую частоту развития эмболических осложнений в группе пожилых по сравнению с молодыми пациентами [10], другие не выявили статистически значимых различий [9], а третьими установлено, что периферические эмболии у лиц преклонного возраста встречаются реже (14,3-29%), чем у молодых пациентов (26-49%) [14,15,32,33]. Снижение частоты развития тромбоэмболических осложнений у пожилых связывают с высокой частотой применения антиагрегантных и антикоагулянтных препаратов в связи с сопутствующими заболеваниями сердца и меньшими размерами вегетаций [33].…”
