Dolly Priatna,
Chittaranjan Baruah,
DK Sharma

Abstract: Over the last few decades, increasing human population, infrastructure development, and land-based economic development in many tropical countries in Asia have significantly reduced the area and quality of forests. Lim et al. (2017) and Chen et al. (2023) reported that forest conversion into plantations and infrastructure development are the main triggers of forest degradation and deforestation in Southeast Asia.
