Abstract: Autoimmune thyroid disease (AITD) is quite common and comprises goitrous and nongoitrous eu- and hypothyroid Hashimoto's Disease with or without preceding thyrotoxicosis, classical hyperthyroid Graves' Disease and its rarer eu- and hypothyroid variants.
