Abstract:Met die toenemende voorkoms van weerstandige Plasmodium stamme het die beheer van malaria-voorkoms en -mortaliteit weer op die voorgrond getree. Nuwe teikens en antimalariamiddels wat effektief is teen weerstandige malaria-parasiete word dus dringend benodig.
