The amount of RNA as well as DNA is considerably increased in psoriatic scales as compared with normal horny layer; RNA was characterized as a low-molecular tRNA; as concerns the base composition of DNA, no particularities in comparison with other DNA species were found, and the base composition of tRNA revealed that cytosine and guanosine are in excess; pseudouridine could not be detected in psoriatic tRNA.

Mit Hilfe eines neu entwickelten elektrischen MeDapparates wird die Wasserdampfdiffusion der menschlichen Haut und das Vermogen der Haut, Wasser zu binden, untersucht. Vf. bestatigt, daD die aufieren Hautschichten kolloidchemische Eigenschaften besitzen, welche zu der Folgcrung berechtigen, daO die Haut ein Xerogel ist.Aptitude de la peau humaine a fixer l'eau La methode de mesure elaboree par les auteurs permet de determiner d'une maniere precise la diffusion de vapeur d'eau de la peau humaine et son aptitude a fixer l'eau. On a pu etablir que la tension de vapeur absolue de la surface cutanee, qu'il s'agisse d'une peau pauvre ou riche en eau, s'adapte a la tension de vapeur absolue de l'atmosphere en un equilibre constant.Der Wasserhaushalt der menschlichen Haut, insbesondere das Vermogen der augeren Schichten der 'menschlichen Haut, Wasser zu binden, steht im Brennpunkt der hautphysiologischen Forschung der letzten Jahre. Trotz der miihsamen und verdienstvollen Forschungsarbeit vieler Dermatologen und Physiologen wurde a Vortrag anlal3lich der DGF-Vortragstagung in Hamburg am 26. Oktober 1961.
