Benzotriazolium Ylides‐Assisted Multicomponent Diastereoselective Synthesis of Activated Tetra‐ and Penta‐Substituted Cyclopropanes

Abstract

A one‐pot three component reaction of benzotriazolium ylides, aldehydes or ketones, and 1,3dicarbonyl compounds has been developed for the synthesis of activated polysubstituted cyclopropanes. The transformation features high reactivity and diastereoselectivity, broad substrate scope, room temperature, and simple operation.
