Abstract: Benzaldehyde is a compound of great importance in industry such as chemical, pharmaceutical and food industry, as a synthetic precursor or reagent. Examples of applications of benzaldehyde include food and perfume flavoring, cosmetic dyes, fuel and fuel additive, plasticizers and water treatment.
