Bent tilted fiber Bragg gratings for temperature-independent vibration sensing in vehicles

Abstract: Fiber grating based techniques have proven themselves as low cost, small size and low weight solutions for sensing strain and/or temperature in various applications, including structural health monitoring of aircrafts, ships and other manmade structures.
