The symptoms tend to vary from dysuria [4,6,10,11], urinary retention [4], secondary enuresis [8], vesicoureteral reflux [12] and hematuria [5,9,10] in the children to hemospermia, urethrorrhagia and terminal gross hematuria after coitus or exertion [13], frank hematuria [14] and obstructive voiding [3,7] in the adults.
