Abstract: Oral anticoagulation (OAC) prevents thromboembolism yet greatly increases the risk of bleeding, inciting concern among clinicians. Current guidelines lack sufficient evidence supporting long-term OAC following successful atrial fibrillation catheter ablation (CA).
