Beliefs about hydroxyurea in youth with sickle cell disease

Abstract: Beliefs about hydroxyurea correlated with HRQOL scores and adherence levels. Addressing patients' concern about hydroxyurea and medications overall as well as routine assessment of adherence and beliefs could help to overcome adherence barriers.
