Abstract:Effective team-based care is necessary for implementation of the integrated care models recommended to improve behavioral health access. Many models rely on social workers who are trained to deliver behavioral health care as an interprofessional team member. In this article, we highlight two social work programs utilizing interprofessional education to enhance team-based care competence.
