Behavioral and developmental problems of children in primary care: Opportunities for psychologists.

Abstract: Almost 25 years ago, Regier, Goldberg, and Taube (1978) provided convincing evidence that most of the mental health care for children in the United States was provided in primary care facilities by providers trained in primary care and not in mental health clinics by providers trained in mental health.
