Behavior and development of larvae in the sponge Haliclona amboinensis

Abstract: Sponges play important roles in marine ecosystems by contributing to habitat complexity and benthopelagic coupling of nutrients. Yet, the reproduction and settlement behaviors of diverse sponge species are not well understood.
