Begonia flaviflora Hara (Begoniaceae): a new record to the flora of Bhutan

Abstract: Begonia flaviflora Hara, a new record to Bhutan is proposed and described.  The species belongs to section Platycentrum (Klotzsch) A. DC. and is very distinctive with yellow flowers, lobed leaves, stems and petioles with brownish pubescence.  Geographical distribution along with ecology, notes and photographs of the species are provided.
