Abstract:Bedellia somnulentella Zeller, 1847 (Lepidoptera: Bedelliidae), microlepidoptera leafminer of plants of the Convolvulaceae family, has Ipomoea batatas as its main commercial host. The distribution of this insect is cosmopolitan, with importance in different regions of the world.
