Whether in museums and botanical gardens (Mangione 2018), residential homes (Lovatt 2018) or planned (Jones 2018) and actual hospitals (Bell 2018), these scholars have shown how objects previously overlookedchairs in a waiting room (Bell 2018) or clothing (Buse and Twigg 2018)can shed light on the moments when care is given, received, withheld, negotiated and shared.
