Abstract: Bearing capacity is a value used to determine the ability of soil to withstand the pressure and load of a construction. One of the methods to increase bearing capacity of soft clay soil is use geotextile material as reinforcement material. The use of geotextile requires high operational costs, so it needs alternative replacement materials with lower prices and easily available, one of which is woven bamboo.
