Abstract:The CHESS-U upgrade 1 project transforms Cornell's 5.3 GeV, electron-positron colliding synchrotron into a dedicated 6 GeV light source and replaces the current experimental hall contents with six new end stations fed by pairs of canted CHESS compact undulators 2 through three new front ends.
