BCJ relations in ${AdS}_5 \times S^3$ and the double-trace spectrum of super gluons

Abstract: We revisit the four-point function of super gluons in AdS5 × S 3 in the spirit of the large p formalism and show how the integrand of a generalised Mellin transform satisfies various non-trivial properties such as U (1) decoupling identity, BCJ relations and colour-kinematic duality, in a way that directly mirrors the analogous relations in flat space. We unmix the spectrum of double-trace operators at large N and find all anomalous dimensions at leading order. The anomalous dimensions follow a very simple pat… Show more

“…In-in correlators [13] can then be computed by squaring of the wavefunction and computing expectation values [7]. Recent developments in this direction include geometric approaches [14,15], methods based on factorisation [16][17][18][19][20] and unitarity [21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28], Mellin-Barnes representations [29,30], color/kinematics duality [31][32][33][34][35][36][37][38], the double copy [39][40][41][42], and the cosmological scattering equations (CSE) [43,44]. See also [45][46][47][48] for other recent work adapting amplitude ideas to (A)dS correlators.…”

“…from the expected behaviour of the amplitude when the charges p are taken to be large. The large p limit is well established in various AdS × S backgrounds [39,40]. In the case we are interested in, the crucial observation is that, in the large p limit, the AdS 5 × S 5 Mellin amplitude asymptotes the flat space amplitude of IIB supergravity, where s is identified with the corresponding ten-dimensional Mandelstam invariant of the flat space amplitude.…”

“…The one of order eight first appeared in [16]. Later they were observed to be relevant for a, still conjectural, hidden conformal symmetry in N = 4 SYM [17] and also in these N = 2 theories [18]. 2 Another interesting fact about them is that they are Casimir operators for the u-channel OPE (when the four-point function is expressed as above).…”
