The high-temperature molten metal leakage accident and its secondary accidents have become urgent problems to be solved in the current metallurgical industry because of their destructive power. The description of the high temperature molten metal leakage accident structure is the basis for studying its evolution law. Based on the idea of collection, this article uses multiple case analysis methods to abstract the accident attributes, and constructs an accident institutionalized description framework with the content of accident types, internal attributes, environmental attributes, management attributes, and hazard assessment attributes. A structured description of the leak. Finally, the “4.18” ladle capping accident of Qinghe special steel in Tieling, Liaoning Province was selected for example verification, and the attribute relationship between the primary accident and the secondary accident was analyzed. The research results have reference value for studying the evolution law of high temperature molten metal leakage accidents and making emergency decisions.

Because of the recent frequency of climatic hazards and extreme weather events, disasters caused by natural hazards are attracting increased attention from the governments, communities, and the public. Synergistic effects between natural and technological hazards have a significant role in risk assessment. To address these effects, a Natech risk assessment model based on a natural-technological-prone (Natech-prone) facility network is developed to clarify specific scenarios and assess Natech risk. A weighted and directed graph is employed to map out the industrial facilities and other necessary information emerging from the display. It is assumed that the final risk triggered by a natural event is the result of disasters caused by Natech-prone facilities. The decision weights of Natech-prone facilities are heavily dependent on the recognition of the interacting components. A subjective probability is applied to the expected risk utility function to overcome the disadvantage of objective probability, which fails to address the uncertainty found in irrational human factors. Fuzzy measures are used to describe the positive and negative synergistic effects caused by the interaction between Natech-prone facilities. In addition, a Choquet integral is incorporated into the method to deduce the positive and negative synergistic effects in risk assessment. A numerical example is given to illustrate the model, and comparisons and analyses are provided. This paper conceptualizes a specific scenario of a Natech accident. The use of an expected risk utility function for dependent disaster events is a new idea in the field of Natech risk assessment.

Insulated conductors can improve the stability of power transmission and reduce the construction space compared with traditional bare conductors. Therefore, insulated conductors are used more and more in overhead power transmission. However, a major challenge of using insulated overhead conductors (IOC) is that the ordinary protection devices are not able to detect the phase-to-ground faults and something, such as tree branch, hitting conductor events. This may cause an accident such as power failure or electrical fire and result in serious damage. In this paper, a new approach, which is based on Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Long Short Term Memory network (LSTM) for detecting of IOC fault according to partial discharge, is presented. Firstly, the original signal is denoised by DWT. Secondly, the denoised signal is decomposed and extracted features on different layers by DWT. Finally, IOC fault is detected by LSTM. This method can improve the detection accuracy of IOC fault which is tested on the ENET public data set and compared with other classification methods.
