Basics of Forest Ecology and Management

Abstract

This book was prepared within the Sustainable Resilient Ecosystem and Agriculture Management in Mongolia (STREAM) project. The STREAM project, co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, is being implemented by the Mongolian Ministry of Environment and Tourism with the support of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Mendel University in Brno heads a consortium of twelve educational and research institutions that collaborate on the forestry component of the project led by the GIZ.
