Abstract:Rendering a medical expert opinion on the musculoskeletal system is an extraordinary responsibility. Nearly all physicians are confronted with this medical task in their daily clinical practice. Difficulties encountered and misjudgments made in formulating an expert opinion are certainly primarily a result of insufficient knowledge of the sociomedical basis.
