Baseline functional connectivity may predict placebo responses to accelerated rTMS treatment in major depression

Abstract: Although in theory sham repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) has no inherent therapeutic value, nonetheless, such placebo stimulations may have relevant therapeutic effects in clinically depressed patients.
