Barriers to and Recommendations for Research Recruitment of Individuals Affected by Serious Illness

Abstract: Researchers are encountering increasing challenges in recruiting participants for healthcare research. We conducted semi-structured individual interviews to identify participant barriers to research and recommendations for overcoming these challenges.
