Barocrinology: The Endocrinology of Obesity from Bench to Bedside

Abstract: Obesity has reached pandemic proportions. Hormonal and metabolic imbalances are the key factors that lead to obesity. South Asian populations have a unique phenotype, peculiar dietary practices, and a high prevalence of consanguinity.
