Balancing Social Responsibility and Personal Autonomy: Adolescents’ Reasoning About Community Service Programs

Abstract: Many jurisdictions in North America have implemented mandatory community service programs in high schools. However, little research exists examining the reasoning of youth themselves about such programs.
