Baicalein neutralizes hypercholesterolemia-induced aggravation of oxidative injury in rats

Abstract: Background: Hypercholesterolemia is a major risk factor for several cardiovascular and metabolic diseases through triggering oxidative and pro-inflammatory cascades. Baicalein (BL) is a natural flavone with multiple therapeutic properties.
