Abstract:Objectives: The principal sources of drinking water in the state of Libya are desalinated and underground well water. This study was carried out to determine the bacteriological quality of drinking and cultivation water obtained from the stream surface and wells water of the Ka'am Valley in Al-Khoms and the susceptibility of isolated bacteria to antimicrobial agents.
