Bacterial nucleoid protein Dps binds structured RNA molecules

Abstract: Аннотация. Для взаимодействия с сахаро-фосфатным остовом ДНК архитектурный белок бактериального нуклеоида Dps использует боковые группы лизинов, расположенные на его N-концевых модулях. Электростатический характер взаимодействия предполагает способность Dps связываться с любой нуклеотидной последовательностью, в том числе с РНК.
