Bacterial Argonaute Proteins Aid Cell Division in the Presence of Topoisomerase Inhibitors in Escherichia coli

Abstract: Prokaryotic Argonautes (pAgos) are programmable nucleases with incompletely understood functions in vivo . In contrast to eukaryotic Argonautes, most studied pAgos recognize DNA targets.
