Backward branch of surface dust cyclotron wave in a semi-bounded magnetized dusty plasma

Abstract: The surface dust cyclotron waves are investigated in semi-bounded magnetized dusty plasmas. The dispersion relation is obtained by the plasma dielectric function with the specular reflection boundary condition. The result shows the existence of the low-frequency backward wave branch in the surface dust cyclotron wave. The frequency of the wave is found to be decreased with the dust Debye wave number.
