B(M1) Staggering in Two-Quasiparticle Chiral Bands

Abstract: Staggering in the B(M1) intra and inter-band transition probabilities may be a result of effects other than strongly broken chirality. Thus it is risky to consider it an unambiguous prove for chiral symmetry.
