Abstract: Background/Aims: B-cell receptor-associated protein 31 (Bap31) is an evolutionarily conserved, ubiquitously expressed, polytopic integral membrane protein in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) that is involved in the regulation of apoptosis, protein transport and degradation.
