Abstract:There is growing appreciation for the emergence of CARnegbystander T cells after CAR-T cell infusion. However, their phenotypic and transcriptomic hallmarks and mechanisms of activation remain uncertain. We performed single-cell RNA-Seq (scRNA-Seq) on non-human primate (NHP) and patient-derived T cells to interrogate CARnegT cells following B cell targeted CAR-T cell therapy. In a NHP model, we observed a distinct population of activated CD8+ CARnegT cells emerging during CAR-T cell expansion. These bystander … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
