Abstract: The World Health Organization (WHO) “Classification of Tumours of Haematopoietic and Lymphoid Tissues”, published in 2001 and subsequently updated in 2008 and 2017, defined disease entities based on morphologic and phenotypic characteristics, clinical features, and genomic findings.
