Five factors are found to influence millennials when buying vegan leather luxury products (VLLPs): sustainability awareness, peer pressure, and the perceived conspicuousness, quality and aesthetics of these products. Five factors are identified, all positively impacting purchase intention: sustainability awareness, positive friend or family opinion on VLLPs, and the perceived conspicuousness, quality, and aesthetics of these products. Brands producing VLLPs and targeting millennials should focus on these factors while creating a marketing strategy.

After the pandemic, education will not go back to a 100% offline mode since the application of e-learning technologies (ELTs) cannot be avoided. Therefore, their impact should be studied for future education development. Most future entrepreneurs are attending school today. Therefore, universities need to supply necessary education to encourage students to cope with future conditions and development. At the same time, due to the increasing attention being paid to the harmony between ecology and prosperity, the sustainability aspect of entrepreneurship education needs to be emphasized as well. This study investigates the impact of ELTs on entrepreneurial education performance (including personal skills, product skills, and business skills), sustainability efficacy, and their impact on sustainability awareness. Data were collected from a master’s degree class on entrepreneurship at a Hong Kong university and SmartPLS was used to analyze the data. It was found that ELTs have a significant relationship with entrepreneurial performance and sustainability efficacy. Meanwhile, sustainability efficacy also has a significant relationship with sustainability awareness. However, no significant relationship between entrepreneurial skills and sustainability awareness was identified. The results indicate that ELTs can improve students’ entrepreneurial skills and sustainability awareness, which proves the effectiveness of ELTs and provides support for their application in future entrepreneurship education.

Engineers have a growing contribution towards attaining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Thus, graduate engineering students’ awareness and attitude will be crucial for dealing with these complex societal challenges. The purpose of this study is to investigate the sustainability awareness (SA) of engineering students from a developing country in comparison to that of those published from developed European countries. It also aims to explore engineering students’ attitudes and willingness to consider sustainability challenges as an important part of their future professional role. We have conducted a quantitative online survey (n=253) with the participation of engineering students from different majors at Bachelors and Masters levels. The data concerning students’ awareness and attitude underwent quantitative statistical analysis and was compared to that in the literature. The data was analyzed using SPSS to investigate differences and similarities between majors and validate its quality. The findings show good levels of SA and lower levels of knowledge in SDGs among engineering students compared to that presented by European studies. Thus, a gap in SDGs’ awareness exists between students from developed and developing countries. However, students’ positive attitudes and willingness to be involved in SDGs’ practices were remarkably high in understanding the leading role of engineers toward achieving the SDGs. Our results confirm engineering students’ motivation and strong positive attitude for resolving sustainability issues in developing countries despite challenging lifestyles. Our findings could be further used by engineering faculties in developing countries to minimize the gap and enhance future engineers’ contribution towards a more sustainable society.
