Average irradiance of Hermite–Gaussian beam under pointing error in atmospheric turbulence

Abstract: Hermite-Gaussian (HG) beam has enormous potential to enhance the capacity of free-space optical (FSO) communication due to its unique orthogonal spatial modes.
