Abstract:As espécies de copaibeiras são amplamente distribuídas nas regiões Amazônica e Centro-Oeste do Brasil. Seu óleo é utilizado como anti-inflamatório das vias urinárias, em afecções pulmonares, antiúlcera, antiasmático, expectorante, pneumonia, sinusite, disenteria, incontinência urinária, cistite e leucorréia e como antitumoral.
